The brass band of the 
 First English Language School was founded 28 years ago by Nikolina Angelova who 
 has been its leader since then. The band has had many concerts in Bulgaria and 
 abroad. It has won three gold medals at international festivals in Germany, 
 France and Italy. The band gained popularity for its performance of 6 concerts 
 in England, one of them in the Royal Palace of Music. The great British music 
 corporation "Emi Records" produced a record of the band concert repertoire. 
 Later Prof. Harry Mortimer awarded our brass band a Silver 
 Record.
